On 23.5.2026 Talcher Excise team and Angul District Mobile Squard Angul jointly conducted raid in jungle area of Barkote village under Rengali police station limits. Wherein 7380 kgs of fermented mahua flower and 440 Lts of IDL have been recovered and destroyed. Umakant Swain inspector of Excise Talcher and Manasi Sahu inspector of Excise District Mobile Squard Angul were leading the raid.
